Having not had an opportunity to use the V6 model I can't really make a comparison. I have a small place and the unit is perfect for me. Whenever I see dirt it's just so easy to grab the unit and fix the problem. The unit has 2 levels of suction the lowest is for normal use and the highest is so high it sticks the power head to my carpet and won't move. So would I recommend Dyson cordless, if you can afford it, it will save you time.
