Cheap and cheerful

Not really suited for trade use. Definitely do not use with an impact driver as it can't take it. (The spindle detaches from the holder so only the shaft spins). (this is the longer piece that has broken upon first use I'm talking about).

Does the job

Have had the battery for about 2 weeks now, have been through about 3 charge/use/recharge cycles, all seems well. Not sure that it actually lasts as long as genuine De Walt parts but for half the price it's a good buy. Takes about 45 mins to charge from flat. It's a slightly 'tight' fit on some of the drills but not really an issue. Recommended anyway. I work as an electrician on building sites, new work, drilling joists and bricks blocks btw

Electrician review

This is my second one of these, as an electrician (on new build sites) these are perfect for screwing up sockets, or fitting pendants etc. The brushes went on the first one, after 6 years. I bought the first one when I had a holiday to Florida, it was $99 the set inc 2 batteries and a charger, - about £65 at the time. The UK price is a good deal more but can't really do without it now, the next size up is too bulky to hang on the tool belt. Recommended.
