Differing versions of SM-P600 series tablets
This is undoubtedly an excellent product, but I haven't got it installed yet because my SM-P605 differs from the SM-P600 versions seen in online videos about how to do this job. Under the rear cover, it has a pale grey plastic frame which runs almost all the way around the edge of the screen and appears to be glued firmly in place -- possibly direct to the glass. This frame prevents access to the screws which secure the micro-USB socket and also the outlying multiway connectors for the flex cable (see photo detail). I've considered cutting out a section of the grey strip, but it looks as though there would be a serious risk of damaging the screen.
So unless you know how to get the grey strip out, I suggest that you check your tablet before ordering to make sure that it doesn't look like mine, and that you can remove the original cable..

Bright, but a little tight
Gives a bright, flicker-free light with good colour balance. However, the profile of the fitting is so slim that there is little space within for wiring when fitted flush against the ceiling.
