Dell Recovery USB Windows 7
After a long delay to supply chain issues and personal ones. I was able to restore a Studio XPS 8100 utilizing the recovery usb. This computer is using the first generation quad core i7. I found a spare ssd and the system was back to its original condition sans the ssd. The spinning 7200rpm hdd was disconnected. So if you’re wondering if the usb recovery media works….it does indeed. I don’t plan to do any upgrades other than the ssd. Surprisingly, I was still able to get updates from MS for Win7, with some caveats. So, if you’re like me and lent a computer from this era to a friend or family member of purchased from eBay, CL, Goodwill (The Grid), or other means and the recovery media is missing, I can recommend trying this sellers offering. Plus, since it’s an OEM software Windows is already activated. Plus, it’s eligible for the upgrade to Win10.
