Works well, socket spacing might be too close for some plugs
I believe this sound card adapter is very good value. It has enabled me to connect my Philips SHM 1900 headphones with mic to my Windows 10 Dell laptop. The headphones have two 3.5mm jacks, and the laptop has either usb or a single 3.5mm jack. When the adapter is connected it is used in preference to the laptop's built in speakers and mic. It works for recording, playback and with Skype.
The LED flashes when a sound is played, so even if you're not wearing the headphones, you get a visual indication of audio, which can be useful.
The only potential problem is that my headphone jacks are slightly wider than the gap between the sockets and are a very tight fit. But I don't intend to be removing and re-inserting them, so I think it is fine.

Precharged rechargable
1 of 1 found this helpful I first bought one of these over a month ago for use as a backup battery in a smoke alarm. It arrived already charged, but I did give it a full charge before installing it. It has a mAh rating comparable with many alkaline 9V batteries, so I expect it to last for many months. I've since bought two more of these batteries.
