Nuvo DooD Plastic Clarinet with Bag - Various Colours

Great fun instrument

I've really enjoyed playing the Dood. Although aimed at children, it's fine for an adult with big hands (like me) It is a nine note (chromatic) plastic chalumeau in the key of C., washable, with a plastic reed. Since this is similar to a descant recorder, there isn't a steep learning curve, and it's an ideal first step for getting used to a reed instrument, before progressing to Nuvo's Jsax or full size clarinet. The sound is nicely "clarinetty" and I've not produced too many squeaks. There are some slight intonation issues (which a more experienced player may be able to fudge) but it's the most fun I've had with a new musical toy in ages & I thoroughly recommend it.
