I miss this phone...
I upgraded from a black w900i to an O2 Trion PDA, and although I like the pocket pc stuff, I really really miss my Sony Ericsson. Several reasons why I think the w900i was the bees knees: - It had the BEST 2mp camera of all the phones on the market. I would even say that it still provides better looking prints than any other cameraphone out, even the 5mp ones. - It was really, really stylish. Everyone commented on what a cool phone I had. Admittedly, it is slightly thicker than most new phones, but it folded out to provide a really comfortable handset when talking, and quite frankly, as a man, I have no problem with having something a bit bigger than pencil-width in my hand. I actually dislike these new credit card depth ones - ever tried holding your phone to your face with your shoulder with one of those? Anyway, one of the bad guys in Casino Royale was using one so.... :) - It had a great interface. Menus were simple, fast (if you don't use a flashy theme), and easy to use number keys for txts, and nice big thumbpad for games, which meant you don't get cramp after the first minute of playing tetris. What more do you want? If you have a chance to get this one on the cheap, and are not bothered by the latest over-complex phones, just get this one, you won't be disappointed.

Probably the best ultra-compact around?
This review is obviously going to be out of date in a year or two once we see the same kind of camera but in 20 mega pixels... However, for the current market, I have to say that I think this is probably the best one around at the moment. I won't go into detail, but my main reasons for choosing this were shutter latency speed, photo quality and size, and for all three reasons I haven't been disappointed - it is one of the fastest "point and click" cameras (theres some site on google somewhere showing its 3rd or 4th fastest), the quality is almost like you're taking shots from an SLR (good old Carl Zeiss, whoever they are), and the size is just right, although they aren't quite credit cards yet. So, for now, this is probably the ultimate ultra-compact. But that's just my opinion. :)
