Allows a much brighter and clearer view and helps maintain concentration when sighting by blocking any peripheral disturbances.
I wholeheartedly recommended it to all shooters, especially field target.

VW 'POST EMISSIONS FIX' DPF REGENERATION CYCLES
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a tricky one to evaluate due to the numerous vehicle engine configurations in use worldwide.
I am using it in a Skoda with a 1.6 tdi CR 'post emissions fix' engine, which in theory should not make a difference............diesel is diesel right! (not quite).
Since the emissions fix by VW, my engine goes into DPF regeneration every 185 - 240 miles regardless of driving conditions and speeds/rpm.
What I can say is that since using this Lucas product, the DPF regeneration is much quicker than it used to be and now can complete the regeneration whilst driving in and around town, which it would not do before.
So, I can only assume that it is now burning off the DPF soot at a much lower temperature and although for my particular engine the DPF frequency has not reduced (probably due to some VW based software in the ECU post fix) but the regenerations are much quicker.
Based upon this finding, I can assume that it is doing what it is supposed to do and that for 'normal' diesel engines it may well reduce the DPF regenerations and extend it's service life.

Does exactly as stated in specs.
Lasts 10mins almost to the second and has adequate suction for dog hair and grit/small stones in my car - my reason for purchase.
The icing on the cake would be a motorised head and automatic charging when placed into its holder.
The former would make this even better in picking up ingrained hair and fluff etc and the latter would just make for more convienience and tidiness but is truly just a niggle at most.
Otherwise its proved a good buy and does what I require of it.
Easy to empty, easy to use and easy to clean the onboard filter.
Recommended product.
