Remote part works, keyboard won't pair with TV.

Followed instructions that came with remote to pair keyboard with my Samsung UN50KU6300 TV the keyboard will not pair with the TV no matter what I tried. Apparently this keyboard remote is not designed to work with all models of Samsung TVs. However, the remote part does work. 10/9 UPDATE: I contacted Samsung Customer Support, they said that this remote will not work with my Samsung UN50KU6300 TV.
