Hi. I am Julie. I am out of action until Jan 2023. Moving home. I have been collecting and trading Timorese Treasures in the field since 1990 when I won a prize for overseas travel in a pub in Darwin [true]. I had no idea at the time that I had stumbled upon an Aladdin's cave of authentic traditional tribal treasures and hand woven textiles. I have been returning annually ever since [well most years] and witnessed many changes across the last 3 decades. My speciality is Timorese and Alorese artefact, handcraft carvings and ikat textiles. Relatively unaffected by outside influences I am able to offer an incredible array of hand carved wood, bone, buffalo horn, coconut shell, and jungle gourd amongst other materials that come to hand in what is essentially a subsistence level existence. Betel nut and its accessories still play an important role socially and culturally in Timor and we are treated the results. I welcome inquiries and get great pleasure sharing information.

As advertised, prompt. Arrived with sections covered in old insect excrement? eggs? though, which was a bit gross..
