Not the quality you might expect
This clock was bought to replace a sturdy (mainly metal) outdoors Westminster clock that had given some years of good, reliable service. Although this clock looks quite good, on the face of it (and it appears to keep good time) the casing is made from quite flimsy plastic and is not at all robust. The clock is wall mounted in a fairly sheltered position but, nevertheless, is prone to misting up internally in damp weather. I can't tell how accurate the Humidity Gauge is but the Temperature gauge is hopeless - it consistently shows a much higher temperature than actual. At the end of the day I'm more interested in the time keeping qualities than anything else, so I'll keep it. But I wouldn't buy the same clock again.

Time will tell how robust
I last used this type of edging some years ago and the product then utilised is still in place and it has lasted well. This particular edging is very similar but it is not quite as robust. Although the edging is buried quite deeply to provide the firmest possible support to the lawn edge and allow easy trimming, because it is very flexible I decided to use a few pegs along its length to keep it securely in place. Sadly, and much to my surprise, when I accidently caught the top of the edging while tapping a peg into place it split so I now have a reservation about how well the product will in fact survive. Time will tell.
