Disappointing functionality
1 of 2 found this helpful Bought this watch so that I could track the speed and distance of my runs and listen to Spotify without my phone. It has not lived up to expectations: wouldn't start charging, Spotify app not pre loaded and only available with certain phone types and battery life awful when using GPS and/or music.
First issue, I couldn't get it to start charging when it arrived, a common problem by the sound and quantity of the Google search. After fiddling for over an hour I got it charging.
Next, the Spotify app is not preloaded on the phone. It is also on available through certain phones and not an Alcatel or iPhone as I tried.
The pace and distance tracking was adequate but not great. Present pace was temperamental and not steady.
Finally, and this was the deal breaker, the battery life when using GPS and Spotify would last only about 2 hours. I used the Spotify alone (after loading my borrowing someone's Samsung) and it drained 25% of the battery in an hour.
All in all a good idea but too many sticking points.
