Too thin for welding?
6 of 7 found this helpful These gloves are not really thick enough for welding. The heat transfer through the glove when handling hot metal is too high and you can burn yourself quite easily. I note that most of the reviews were for other things such as handling a wood burning stove or for gardening and they would be ideal for this. For the greater temperatures encountered during welding (often to red heat) these gloves are really too thin. Overall they are well made but they need better thermal insulation in the fingers and palm.

I use these pens for drawing fine lines on maps and plans. They are ideal for that.

A typical tractor start switch which has been in use for years. at a much better price than I could buy it from the dealer.
