MICHELIN 12V CAR BIKE TYRE INFLATOR COMPRESSOR and Digital Gauge 12259

Nice portable compressor that does the job well

I've been using the car-provided compressors for years now, until one day i decided that i need one that i will keep in my garage for common use. This one is a bit bulkier, compared to the ones i keep in the trunks of the cars. However, the digital display makes it extremely useful for accurate work. Make sure you reset the compressor prior to screwing the pressure hose to the tyre. Display supports both psi and atm. As always, you will need to inflate a bit more than desired pressure. Say you need to have 2.2 atm/tyre, you will need to inflate to 2.3, 2.35 as once you switch the compressor off, the pressure decreases. This is common behaviour and not a faulty unit... basic physics. I have compared the reading of the gauge to a professional Schraeder tool and also a manual pen-tool and i found it extremely accurate. Bottom line: you cannot go wrong with this item, it's a good buy at a great price and works like a charm. Recommended!

Lightweight, great build quality and aesthetically pleasing.

Looks good, fits great. Build quality is flawless, very easy to install and adjust. No negative aspects so far. Hopefully it will last. Typically the aluminum struts are not very durable, but with a car like Mini Cooper S (R56), the body flex is almost not existent, therefore this strut should last for many miles to come. Besides this design is almost identical to the genuine JCW strut and the tension forces are applied directly to the strut mounts at a 90 degree angle without any offsets or weak material spots. Very happy with the purchase.
