Quality pads with squared paper
Pukka pads are good quality and generally more expensive than many notebooks you see in the shops. However, they are worth it because the paper is excellent and you get a good 200 wodge of them. The spiral binding ensures that the pages lay flat, and the pages are already holed and perforated so that they can be removed and put in a binder.
In the UK, for some reason, the shops generally stock lined paper, and it is with great difficulty that I have finally found a supplier on eBay who sells squared paper Pukka pads. Both a Polish and a Dutch person have told me that squared paper notebooks are preferred in their countries, so are more easily obtainable.

Colourful border strips
As I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find wallpaper border strips for my 1930s house, I was delighted to find a number of designs with this supplier. More colourful than the photo suggested, it matches in with multiple colour schemes, so I may well be back for more to use in other rooms.

Effective Revision and Speed Development
This book both gives a review of basic strokes and short forms, and provides a piece of dictation which makes use of these forms in every chapter. There is also a list of shortforms at the back, along with a list of 700 common words.
This is a useful book for people who have already learned the basics of Pitman's New Era Shorthand in the past, who need a bit of revision as a basis for speed development.
