Fit for john deere riding mower Model 1638H
Purchased for John deere riding mower Model 1638 hydro 020497A. The seat fit fine. Holes lined up for the bracket on mower, but will not be able to slide seat forward in the slots, because seat is a little larger than the original made for the mower. So, mounted it as far back as we could to have leg room. Seat back is a little taller than I was expecting, but my son says it is comfortable and likes the seat back. The original seat was just a little hump that I would not even consider a back support...just enough to keep you from sliding off the back of the seat.LOL. So, it is comfortable, but looks a little oversized on the mower. But who is going for looks anyhow! 😉
