Solidly built speaker with all the features that you would expect.
This is a solid offering. The sound is clear and uncolored and the HP and LP filters work exactly as they should. The headphone jack is a plus, as is the dual source input selector and muting options.

Equivalent to Spectrum Analyzers costing much more
Do not let the small form factor deceive you - this thing is a powerhouse of a test instrument.
As a general purpose spectrum analyzer, this unit performs as well as units costing ten times as much. The resolution bandwidth of 10 Hz is adequate for the most exacting calibration activities and the update rate, even at the maximum resolution, is very good. The VSWR option works very well and the reference frequency is accurate to a tenth of a hertz, as compared to a rubidium source. In particular, the tracking generator feature makes this unit an exceptionally versatile test instrument. With this unit, and an additional RF signal generator, one would have 90% of the tools needed to carry out the majority of RF design and validation activities. This instrument has definitely become one of my test bench's "go-to" instruments.
