The sad story of being married to genius.
Sarah Coleridge, the sad partner in the doomed marriage, has never received sufficient attention. Molly LeFebure's scholarly but never dull examination of the lives of the ill-matched couple restores the balance and engages the reader's total sympathy with the woman who paid the price of being hitched to the dark star that was Samuel Coleridge. A brilliant book in every respect.
