Good product, high quality, questionable value
1 of 1 found this helpful If you love VR and already have a Note 4, and the Gear VR is on sale... get it. At $199, the value is questionable, since you can get Google Cardboard "headsets" for next to nothing, and $199 is a lot to spend on something that you may barely use. But it is fun, and definitely something neat to spend some time with. It's built well, but won't power your phone (something they fixed on the newer version). It also gets your phone really hot, so extended sessions are probably out of the question. Ive had quite a lot of fun with it so far, but I might ditch it when the more powerful PC-powered ones like the Vive become available.
