Great product (in theory)
0 of 1 found this helpful I have one of the motherboards that Asus claims this is supported on but for some reason the BIOS (which claim from one of the bigger brands) did not show me the option to bifurcate the PCIe lanes. I believe they are hijacking some of the lanes for other purposes (which is why it’s hidden in BIOS). Anyhow, this is a great product and I would have loved to use it but looks like I need an alternative that supports bifurcation on board.

Just as expected
It was a little expensive but it was a true Genuine BMW part and that obviously comes with a price. It was unused and matched the exact part number that I was replacing.

Great retrofit add-on for N.A. E46 models (and potentially others).
This is a nice and easy DIY modification to your car. If your car was originally shipped to North America it should already have the wiring harness for it up above the sunroof panel. .I can finally use my garage door without having to carry the hand-held opener around in the car.
