Fantastic value.
After fitting this pin and ring, the engine doesn't loose power all the way up to governer now. Tails off a little towards the end, but pulls much harder for longer and the boost seems to come in earlier. Much better mid range driving too. Part throttle doesn't smoke, and pulls like full throttle did before. Full throttle at any revs does smoke a lot, lessening the higher up the rev range you go, but i might be able to tune this out with boost etc. However for a cheap upgrade, this is a great starting point and packs a punch. Next things to do are boost and egt gauge, then boost levels can be played with safely.
Took me about half an hour to fit the pin and ring, but i had previously already removed the T30 torx and replaced with 5mm allen bolts. Top tip is to use the grease supplied with the pin to stick the washers together and to the cap so they dont fall out when re installing. If your spring/s and washers do fall out when stripping down, the order or parts from the pump is; spring, black calibration washers (2 in my case), three washers as supplied, boost ring and finally the cap.
