Price is right for outdated product.
1 of 1 found this helpful Works fine on AT&T and GCI (Anchorage, Alaska) on band 4. Windows XP and Windows 10 worked fine; however, on Mac current OS you need do download the unsigned drivers from Huawei.com. Not recommended for non-tech Mac users.
Due to limited band coverage, might not work in your location.

You get what you pay for
Cable arrived promptly. When wiggled, cable would lose signal. Only needed for a few weeks so made do.

Last model that works all winter with only batteries
I have used this model and its immediate predecessors for over 10 years. This unit allows connection to weather underground and other weather services with freely available software. All newer models from this company require electric power and do not have easy connection to non-proprietary weather services.
Lasts through an Alaskan winter at a remote location with only a few dropped days. Brand new batteries required at Fall maintenance visit.
Obsolete product so not recommended except for special cases like remote monitoring without paying high prices for professional equipment. Limited availability of spare parts.
