Uncle Tupelo live...going out strong
1 of 1 found this helpful I arrived to the Uncle Tupelo festivities long after the party was over (by way of Son Volt). I normally don’t pick up unofficial releases but this one got great reviews in terms of sound quality and production. I really liked the song selection but even more so I wanted to have a live album from the band as there is no official one in existence. Maybe a record company / band-approved official live album will be released at some point in the future but for now this one stands on its own merits as being an excellent document of a woefully underappreciated band (especially during their time) performing at their peak, albeit on their way to breaking up just a few months later. Highly recommended.

Some of Jerry’s best!
The late Mr. Garcia has quite a few live recordings available on the market, with more being released periodically by Garcia Family Provisions, many of which are excellent. This particular recording has been out of print for a few years now but is worth picking up, even if you have to pay a few extra bucks. There is good energy, playing, and the overall performance has a solid cohesiveness to it. Highly recommended!

Classic Al Stewart, sounding great!
This is an outstanding album from Mr. Stewart’s vintage era. Highly recommended. I wanted this particular version as the sound is excellent, dr.loudness-war.info. I have grown weary of loud compressed remasters of classic music. This website has been helpful in that regard.
