Yamaha CM500 Closed-back Headset with Boom Mic

Good investment

I can hardly tll I'm wearing this headset. It's light weight and very comfortable. The head phones sound great and the boom mic has gotten very good sound checks from other HAM radio operators on the air. I use mine with my HF ham radio for contesting and calling a traffic net. KM4HVE 73

Good starter rig

For new Techs, this rig is a good way to get on HF. Can be hooked up to most CB mobile antennas (cut shorter) or build a di-pole and use it as a base. I was able to talk half way around the world on mine with a half wave CFD home brew hanging vertical and only 25w out of the radio (when the propagation was good).
