Great lens, a few things to make note of
3 of 4 found this helpful Make sure you know what you'll be doing with this lens. Note that this lens does not have VC and therefore you must hit a pretty high shutter speed to ensure a sharp image. Also the only practical use is outdoors or with some really bright lighting, because such a long lens tends to get pretty dark. That being said, this lens is a good edition for a beginner's kit. Shoot some wildlife (sounds weird), or just get a new perspective on that wide shot. Good stuff, everybody, good stuff.
