Excellent full range speaker, flexible and superb sounding
These are outstanding speakers. Although they are technically not Atmos certified, they work perfectly well as Atmos speakers. However, due to the design and the fact they are full range speakers they are equally at home as surround speakers, or indeed front speakers. You could actually have ten of these in a 7.1.4 system (I'd recommend an SVS centre for the centre speaker) if you wanted.
Mounted just at the edge of wall and ceiling, Atmos (and DTS-X) placement with these speakers is nothing short of excellent and far better than any ceiling bounce type speakers. In fact, you will only really better these with full on cutting holes and running wires ceiling speakers. And it's not just the loud effects of Atmos that stand out, but the much more subtle effects which can often be completely missed, like the fluttering of wings overhead, or the murmuring of insects above your head.
These may seem a little expensive compared to something like the Dali Alteco speakers or the PSB Imagine XAs, but you get what you pay for, and they are far better than either of those sets.
If you're thinking about these but you're unsure because of the price, I'd recommend going somewhere you can demo them, and listening to them, perhaps with the Dolby Atmos Amaze (lossless) demo or the Nature's Fury (Lossless) demos. You'll be amazed.

Good basic phone
0 of 1 found this helpful As long as you're not looking for anything like a smartphone and you basically use your phone for texting and calls then this phone will do you fine. The qwerty keyboard is a little small if you're a man, but it's perfect for kids and most of the ladies. Everything else is basic - camera is only 2mp, but this is a cheap and cheerful phone. Oddly, dialing is touch screen operated - nothing else is though!
If you want apps and the latest processor then buy a Dell Streak or an HTC Desire. If you're looking for something to chuck out loads of texts with then this will do just fine :)

Better than expected, makes your house smell great
Easy to set up and figure out, has perfectly usable timer. USes disposable paper filters, but these are not expensive and at least they're paper and so will degrade. Makes your house smell like walking into a coffee shop, which is nice,
Variable grind and strength means you can mess around with how your cup is made, to get the flavour and strength you want - do yourself a favour and don't just stick to the defaults. But a good starting point is 2 bean strength and right in the middle for grind, and then work from there.
Two cups is almost one 14oz mug.
My only gripe is that it doesn't seem to produce coffee as hot as I would have expected. I've got an Ember Mug2 which tells you the temperature of the liquid you put in it, and it seems to be coming out around 73c (or 163.4f). If you are pouring into a normal mug you should be aware that this will lose heat rapidly, so if you like the more bitter intensity and roastiness you'll need to drink faster! To be honest, I like the lower temperatures of around 58c, where there is a good mix of intensity and other flavour notes, but your miileage may vary.
I've given it four stars because although it's not going to compete with four figure coffee makers, for the price it's definitely better than I expected.
