Excellent value for money! One of the best 50 mm lenses you can buy.
If Leica Noctilux is too expensive for you, Voigtländer Nokton 50 f1.1 lens is an excellent modern alternative for available light photography. The lens is sharp enough even wide open and sharpens even more at f1.4. The lens has quite large amount of vignetting until f4 or so, but this is easily fixed either in the camera (Sony A7R can do this automatically) or in post processing, Adobe Lightroom or whatever you have. The worst problem with this lens is chromatic aberration when using large apertures. Bright objects have purple fringing around them until f2.8 or so, which can be problematic sometimes. If you are using Leica M Monocrom or do B/W conversion in post processing, purple fringing is a non-issue, but for color photography this can be a nasty side effect you cannot avoid. On the other hand, I'd rather have clear pictures at low ISO values and some purple fringing (using large aperture) than noisy pictures with high ISO values (or worst of all, no pictures at all). The lens feels like it is built like a tank, but it is not excessively heavy nor large. It's easy to use and future proof, being a manual focus lens.

Good value for money, works as expected on a QNAP TS-412
Works as expected on a QNAP TS-412. This saved me from buying a new NAS as I found out by trying a different power supply that only the power supply was faulty.
