proper class one ball mount saves a lot.
I have a class one hitch on my Prius (which is not the greatest tow vehicle but it works for a small aluminum boat) and I have a class two on my Volvo.
class one is a 1,000 pound capacity and class two is a 3500 pound capacity. They are both 1 1/4 inch ball mounts.
the class 2 ball mount I use on the Volvo has a slightly longer shaft than the class one on the Prius.
this ball mount fits the class one hitch perfectly.
the mount is tubular, while the class 2 is solid.
I had asked a machine shop to cut the class 2 ball mount a bit so that the pin that retains it in the hitch would match the class one hitch.
Their price to do so was three times the cost of the proper ball mount -this one.
so the alignment issue for the retain pin is solved for a smaller fee

top notch hiking boots from New Balance with great fit true to size
I have wide feet and sometimes shoes marked 4E are made narrower than what they are supposed to be. These are true to size and fit like a glove. I purchased them for an upcoming trip, I wish I could wear them all the time around home, but living in south Florida they are a bit overkill.
Flip flops are the norm here, ask Jimmy Buffett.
