Best cost benefit, can't recommend more!
I used Larsen AD and Spirocore Tungstenium G and Larsen Magnacore C before these, and I'm not going back to them.
A set of these is half the price of a single C Spirocore, and the G and C are just as good as my previous set. Really, I swapped between them and couldn't really tell which was better.
The D sound clear on my cello.
Only the A string is a bit dry, but for the price difference I won't ever buy Larsen again unless I become a soloist... Still the A string sounds very very good, Larsen will sound some 5% warmer but that's it. I think this Kaplan A string even has more power than a Larsen!
There are no other strings that I know of that have better cost benefit than these! Unless they happen to not sound good on your cello, but they sound amazing on mine. Look no further, just get them!
