XR350R or XR250R tail light

Wires are too short to attach to an XR200R
Light mounts up, but the wiring is way too short to hook into an XR200R wiring harness. The light is useless without being plugged in - now I need to find an longer wire to attach to reach from back to the lights attached. Had no idea this was not a plug & play since it says it's for an XR200R. Could work - wires are just not long enough. Feel like I wasted my money.
