Quality OEM part
I haven't installed the shaft yet, but don't expect any problems as it is genuine Toro. The best part was the price, as it is a new OEM product at an aftermarket price.

Nice replacement lamp for everyday use.
This LED lamp is not in the same league as many of the "high intensity" lamps on the market, but it is brighter than the original incandescent lamp. It installs easily and is plenty bright enough for finding and replacing a blown fuse or any of the myriad tasks one needs a flashlight for. It is the first LED replacement I found that didn't come with gimmicks and was advertised with useful brightness rather than paint blistering intensity; the useful intensity should be easy on batteries as well. It is too soon to know how well it will last.

German quality
What is so special about a pencil sharpener; besides not being made in China that is? First on the list is it is SHARP. It also has the option of a non pointed pencil which is perfect for a wood shop. Last on the short list is this one is mine, and it is in a drawer close by. No more running upstairs to borrow my wife's pencil sharpener.
