I love this story
Since I was a child, the song from this book has remained with me. One night while reading to my children I could not get it out of my head. It got so bad that I finally thought of buying the book, and boy am I glad I did. It is a great story for my younger children, and the song will hopefully remind them of simpler times when they are older.

GREAT!!
The pop-outs are fantastic. Every page has a huge pop-out bringing to life the portion of the story - and on every page is a set of smaller pages telling the rest of the story with little pop-outs on each one. The colors, imagery, depictions, and even the story (which has been condensed) are brilliant. This could not be a better book. Our kids love to read this thing, and when we went to see The Wizard of Oz with them for the first time, they references this pop-out book. We all love it!

AWESOME!!
This book is not only visually stunning and excellently illustrated, but it follows the main story line of the original so well, you might even think you are reading the original in graphic form.
Our kids love to read this story, and we love to read it to them. They even reference the pop-up when they watch the movie. This realy brings to life the joy of reading. And, for those late nights when you want the reading cut short, it allows you to simply skip a few portions of the story - because the main page is so beautiful, the kids don't even notice much.
This is the third of our Sabuda pop-ups, and we have never been disappointed. I cannot say enough good things about this book!
