Reliable industrial connector for professional equipment
Precise, high quality connector recommended for professional use. Requires skill to solder and assemble, but if done properly results in a rock solid reliable connector. Product finish and materials are superb. Requires reasonable care while plugging it (correct orientation with respect to the matching plug), can be damaged if abused. Not recommended for consumer equipment IMHO.

Windows 7 still rocks
Being a bit outdated at the time of this writing, this is still a great CPU in almost all respects. Personally I appreciate the fact that it runs Windows 7 with no issues, and intend to use it that way as long as possible. Linux is also happy with it.
You can stick this CPU in any AM4 board which are widely available. If you overclock, do provide some better cooling than the stock solution.

A good replacement overall
Decent build quality, but the original is still better. The material that comes in contact with your ears has a bit of a "plastic" feel, while the original was more "leathery" and felt more natural. However everything else is quite good, they fit perfectly (at least on my HD25s), ergonomics and compression are good and I could not notice any difference in sound. It remains to see how long they'll last, but overall I would recommend this item.
