Dump the hi vis vest, get one of these

So much better than a standard hi vis vest, that are usually big and flappy with a square of Velcro that doesn't keep it done up. This harness can be adjusted to fit snugly (good for running and cycling) and the buckle is robust and high quality. I initially bought one for myself for night cycling and having seen how good it was, bought another for my wife for running in the dark. Really excellent value for money.
