Very gooe design, but not heavy duty
They worked very well on road tires. The narrow tips on the two levers makes them easier to get under the bead! They are very light weight--a good feature for a roadie with limited storage space on his bike, but maybe a problem for a mtn biker who would be changing heavier, stiffer, tires--so no 5 star.

We use these on all our bikes
I've purchased a number of RAM mounts for my gps units. The designs have been intelligent, overall, and the quality of the materials have been good. I have a RAM mount for the gps on both of my bikes, and my wife uses one on her bike; they work well. I have a bit of a problem with the models that use zip ties: the straps need to be pulled really tight or they let the unit slip on the handlebar. Overall: a good product, and I'll recommend it.
