A little tricky to install
It's best to dry fit the main unit to the base before permanently mounting the base to the wall.
Just note how the tabs on the unit slip into the holes on the base but do NOT push/slide the
unit onto the base until the unit is affixed to the wall/ceiling. This is because the unit snaps/
slides onto the base making it somewhat of a permanent connection (i.e. you can't pull the unit
apart from the base once they are locked together).
I've had no false alarms so far (2 months).
Will it last 10 years? Who knows?
