Must read, and then apply and live it out.
A most profound book for anyone who would be able to read, understand, and apply. It can be a serious and wonderful blessing for those who do. How serious are you about a good life? There is a way.

Profound Book
For the advanced theologian. Covers the broad topic of death, life after death, resurrection, not only from the Christian perspective but other belief systems. Tom Wright continues with this third volume in the series building on the first two continuing a profound world view. I highly recommend it. It does require serious study and patience to get the information being transmitted.

Profound historical analysis of many great Christian theologians
Absolutely wonderful book. Reviews the great fathers and mothers of the Christian church from Origin to latest. Has simple explanations of profound theological positions along with a critique each chapter devoted to one individual. It is divided into specific areas to ease reading and comprehension. The two authors specialize in the spiritual disciplines and are well qualified to write and speak on the topics. There is a set of audio DVD and a companion book. I listen to the DVD and then read the related chapter in the book. I am a follower of Dallas Willard, Richard Foster and Beebe so this fits their track of spiritual disciplines. The goal is to teach the with-God life which as a retired minister, church planter, missionary, and Christian educator very truthful, credible, accurate, and God-honoring.
