Wonderful nonsense
Totally engaging, well paced. It wears it's make believe well...so that one finds oneself rooting for the characters who are very well drawn. The Red John sub plot can be a bit intrusive but it's there to help define Jane's character as driven by revenge for the murder of his wife and daughter. Actually, thinking about it, it seems to me like a tragi-comedy and has me laughing out loud.
All in all great entertainment, well crafted.

Great support!
1 of 1 found this helpful Wonderful piece of kit this. I used to prop my canvas on a book but it wobbled a bit. Never thought of looking for a desk top easel.
The great thing about it is it is SIMPLE. Not much to go wrong. It's not too hefty but resilient enough and the different positions (5 I think), one can put it in are great. Also good for calligraphy, and any other form of art requiring a support on a desk. Thoroughly recommended.

A Dylan highpoint
I hadn't heard Blonde on Blonde since the 60's. Hearing it again all these decades later, I realise what a gem of genius it is. Song after song nails it. The sound too is lovely...a kind of "live" feel. In the final analysis, This will be regarded as a high point in Dylan's output.. The Band too is so on it...so in the groove. People used to criticize the un polished nature of Dylan's recordings but this is precisely where their greatness lies. The songs are poetry and not pop songs...the way the language fits the music and vice versa is what gives the whole work staying power. If you've never heard it, or if you've forgotten it, do get this disc. It's like nothing else produced in the 60's.
