Great pedals for any playing style or amp. Warms your tone up, adds gain!!
1 of 1 found this helpful These are GREAT!! A little hotter than the TS9's. Uses the same JRC4558 chip. Hot switch makes it even hotter yet. Metal case makes it more rugged and dependable than the plastic TS5 Soundtank model. I own both and like 'em both. I also have a vintage TS9 from 1983....great for a reference, and the TS-7 kills it. My TS9 is noticeably creamier in tone, but unless you're Stevie Ray Vaughn you'll probably go for the TS-7 in a blindfolded sound test. Mod one of these out with a mod kit off of ebay and it gets even better. Great pedal to add to your gear collection if you don't already have one.

JUNK STRINGS. BREAK IMMEDIATELY!
High E string breaks every time upon installation and initial tuning up. I bought a 5 pack of these strings and wasn't able to get one working set out of them. All 5 high E strings broke on me immediately. They come unraveled at the ball end.
Additionally, the gauges of the strings feel real funny to me. I did not check them with a caliper (as I don't care to) but the feel was weird and low quality. Manufacturer needs to get a few more things right before this is to be a solid product that they're offering. As of now....don't wast your time or $$$ on them, they're lousy.
Would give a zero if it were possible.
