Fantastic CD, with it's own style, and charisma......A MUST OWN CLASSIC !!!
I Bought this CD to re-visit my youth....I remember it being an active array of Tunes. It was ( and is ) A great CD, with powerful and haunting classics like Man in a suit case & Canary in a coal mine. Once listened to, these songs get stuck in your mind and remain there forever !!!! Classic music and a classic sound.......It will never lose any quality when compared to the music of today. Listen to it 3 or 4 times and you will become hooked on its ORIGINAL CORE.

OUR LADY PEACE THE REAL TRUTH
0 of 2 found this helpful I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL OUR LADY PEACE CD'S IN SEARCH OF A MASTERPEACE LIKE THE GRAVITY ALBUM......I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT THERE ARE NONE LIKE IT. THE GRAVITY ALBUM ROCKS IN A MELODIC ALMOST STORY BOOK LIKE PERFECTION. EVERY SONG ON THE GRAVITY CD IS A GREAT TUNE. THE HAPPINESS IS NOT A FISH CD WAS A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT FOR ME.....WAS THE GRAVITY CD A ONE HIT WONDER? MAYBE A ONE ALBUM WONDER...ALL I KNOW IS GO GET THE GRAVITY CD IF YOU DONT ALREADY HAVE IT, AND STOP THERE!!!!!

Average music quality, needing some Hard hitting Rock & Roll added !!!
I purchased this CD because I really like the sounds of Kings of Leon, and thought this project would be a continuation of that sound. Well.....the sound is very different, and I find the music to be Decent. Although not the sound I was looking for, It does have some musical quality. Not a great CD but worth listening to. Maybe the next Smoke & Jackal album will be better, with a little more rock quality added.
