another remake but in exellent form
1 of 1 found this helpful ive seen all the hound of the baskerville films so it was time to see what this one was like and i was quite impressed it had a good cast my best actor in it had to be richard e grant who played stapleton he made him such a good opponent for holmes and watson oh yes with the help of a massive hound as well,out of 10 i will give this version 9.

the film that was banned
this film was made by sam rami who later bought you the blockbusters spiderman 1 2 and 3 with toby maguire,and also bruce campbell who is the main character in this flick,he palys a student called ash,the film was banned at first in england but when i did see it i thought it was ok not many effects but again this was sams first film,it makes you jump abit and watching it at night is better, two more films were made after this but they were more comedy than horror,but its still nice to have it in my collection as this still goes don as a classic.

pumkinhead 1988
a pretty good film but again they rip the ass out of them by making 4 others,anyway this film has lance henriksen who as you now is famous for aliens and millenium,the plot is about a man who runs a small store in mid west america and one day his small son goes out to play with his dog in a field at the back of the shop,and also there are a group of collage kids with scramblers but one of them runs down the boy and kills him so this father takes the boy to a witch to ask for vengence for his death and she summons "pumkinhead" a demon who will kill all those involved in his sons death,the effects are created by stan winston "who also directs the movie" he is famous for films like "terminator-jarassic park and starship troopers,if you decide to buy this film i dont think youve had wasted your money,
