perfect for CCNA/CCNP
this switch is ideal for a CCNA or CCNP, they are cheap to buy, the Gigabit modules and stacking cables are plentiful, and the switches can have thier fan's replaced to make them near silent, so perfect for a home lab.
i currently use 5 of them in a test lab and are excellent for learning stacking, R-PVST, cdp and vtp with plenty of flexibility for more complex configs.
for CCNA if you want good hands on kit to work with, the 2950G is a decent piece of kit to buy, pair it up with a 2610XM or 2611XM and you can cover everything you need to.
