Fantastic tale of ingenuity, ‘going for it’, bravery and adventure.

Incredibly well written story of the origins of the SAS during the war in the western desert, continuing with their exploits through Sicily and Italy before supporting the D-Day landings, Normandy campaign and the final thrust into Germany itself. Highly recommended.
