Poor Welding
The blades are poorly welded. The welding is generally not straight, so the blade moves backward and forwards in use. It also breaks prematurely at the weld. Of the four I last purchased, one was welded the wrong way round so it could not be used at all. When one does get a blade that is welded correctly it works very well and has a long life. The actual blade material itself is good - it is the fabrication that is so variable. I have now sourced a superior blade elsewhere.

No paintwork damage. Not hygroscopic.
When changing brake fluid on my vintage cars I tend to get in a bit of a mess. It is good to know that when the fluid gets on the paintwork it will not damage it. Since I have several vintage cars which do not, individually, do much mileage each year, it is good to know that the fluid does not need changing simply because it has been sitting there absorbing water. For me, although costly compared to conventional brake fluid, it represents very good value.

Super quick direct replacement
I took out the old unit, pushed the connectors onto the new unit and, hey presto, we were back in business - perfect. So often electrical problems take ages to solve, but not in this case. Even the dash light, which had not been working for at least 10 years suddenly came to life!
