Better than most but not perfect
The stitching of one of the glove fingers split down the side on first use, although admittedly after a tough test session of handling heavy rocks. At least they are otherwise still holding together pretty well even after a second such session. They are definitely better than cheaper thinner gloves I've tried, are comfortable to wear and seem to cope quite well with wet conditions. So they're definitely not bad, I'm reasonably happy with the quality given the price paid (not very expensive), and I think that on lighter duties they would last quite a long time.

Great Music played by Experts
Firstly, this album is entirely instrumental. This is perhaps the only disappointment, as I would love if Annette Peacock had made a vocal contribution. However, the instrumental work is so highly accomplished that it stands up on its own without the need for vocals.
The music is generally quite laid back. You can either listen to it specifically for the purpose of being immersed within it, or equally you could have it as unintrusive background music. Like most discerning music, it takes a few listenings before you get the most out of it. It is like a fine wine - the more you try it, the more you appreciate it.
I would urge all music connoisseurs to seek out and discover the very fine repertoire of Annette Peacock and all of her associates over the years. There are indeed some great treasures laying out there largely undiscovered. This album is one of them, but there are many more.

Does what it says on the tin
