Oil seal pick up pipe repair

Quality
I purchased this sensor fitted it the same day,
Cleared stored fault code and it seemed
To work well.
But after one day and when the engine warmed up it failed. I scanned the engine diagnostic and the p0340 code was back.
The sensor fails once up to temperature so I purchased a replacement bmw sensor and the fault disappeared and never came back.
I wasted my money should have known better.
