ok but better & cheaper ones available
I wa disappointed mainly with menu system and the fact that it is not user friendly.
We bought it as replacement for another we got from tesco and on the whole the tesco version, techtronic, had a better menu system and was easier to use. This was bought for use in our caravan and this was chosen due to humax having such a good reputation for pvrs. But i would not not consider another unless the menu system was updated or modenised which could be done with a firmware update. The tesco version was cheaper but much nicer to use updates were done regually to improve its general use and presentation and updates were pretty much available all time until the next one came out not just for 48hrs as is the humax. The humax looks ok but i can't the unit to display the current channel.
There are definatly better pvrs available for a lot less money.
