Hilariously Subtle Pratchett
I came late to reading Terry Pratchett's books, I started reading them in March aged 68 and was hooked. Wings is book 3 of the Nomes Trilogy, the other two being Truckers & Diggers. This book is sheer escapism, a mad cap romp through the mind of a genius who is alas no longer with us in body, but will be with us forever in our minds through his books.

Not for the squeamish, Stuart Macbride at his best.
The dark, seamy world of the criminal, Macbride is a master story teller, if you like the Rebus novels then you will like this. Good strong characters, a compelling tale, to be honest I could not find fault.
