Jackie Gleason- Taste of Brass for lovers only/Doublin
Jackie Gleason made some great albums, especially for late night listening as the titles suggest. Unfortunately the vinyl i have of his has not been issued on cd. This very talented man, comedian, actor and although musically untrained a bandleader, knew the sound he wanted and made it. If you thought he was only the "Sheriff", think again. This cd is typical of his enjoyably smooth style of music. I knew any cd i chose of his would not disappoint and thats proved to be true.

Jack Scott - I Remember Hank Williams/What In The world
Both of these albums are from the old Top Rank label and portray Jack's easy rich voice to perfection. I Remember Hank Williams was the most played Lp from a handful our family had at the time. As a teenager I did my courting to this Lp in the front room of our house, left on the Dansette to repeat over and over and the lights low, it never failed me. An excellent double Cd and if you buy it, you never know you might get lucky.
