Deff worth the popcorn
2 of 2 found this helpful Sequels are so very often disappointing. 28 Days Later was a very good film and 28 Weeks Later is also a very good film. You could watch this without seeing the 1st film and still enjoy it thoroughly. Following on from the 1st film, the UK has been cleansed of the infected people and its time to re-populate, but things never go as they hope. The Rage Virus has changed and it re-appears.
What makes this film and the 1st very frightening is that it is not ghosts or ghoulies but something that really could happen to mankind. It is a believable horror film. It certainly could have the watcher hiding behind the sofa.
So take your popcorn and sit down and enjoy. I certainly did.
